Summer Sowers Program
Join our dedicated summer volunteer teams who maintain and beautify our Soldotna campus, making life-changing education possible.
Serving Christ Through Hands-On Campus Care
Each summer from mid-May through mid-August, volunteer couples, individuals, and church work teams—affectionately known as Summer Sowers—travel to Soldotna to serve alongside our full-time staff. Sowers assist with carpentry, painting, groundskeeping, landscaping, housekeeping, and food service, preparing the campus for the incoming fall cohort.
In exchange for their faithful service, Sowers enjoy on-campus housing, fellowship with other Christian volunteers, and ample free time to explore the Kenai Peninsula, hike scenic trails, and fish for Kenai River salmon.
